Your body needs some cholesterol to make vitamin D, hormones, and substances that help you digest fat.
Cholesterol is obtained by eating sugar, meat, eggs, dairy product.etc.
What is HDL, LDL-
1) HDL- High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is called good cholesterol. It removes cholesterol from the blood.2) LDL- Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is often called bad cholesterol. It delivers cholesterol to the body.
Control high cholesterol levels-
control high cholesterol levels by changing your lifestyle like- avoid smoking, healthy diet, weight loss, practice yoga.etc.
Control bad cholesterol by lifestyle-
1) Eat soluble fiber food, like- fruits and vegetables (apple, grapes, strawberries, soybeans, tomato.etc)
2) Use sunflower oil for cooking food.
3) Exercise can improve cholesterol. doing exercise regularly can control your bad cholesterol.
4) Avoid alcohol and stop smoking.
5) Use less sugar and table salt (limit- 1 teaspoon).
